Energy Minister Bassil: Lebanon to enjoy 24 hour power in 2015

Energy minister Gebran Bassil held a press conference on Wednesday in which he announced that an European company won the tender along with an American company, noting that Lebanon will harbor 841 Megawatts of electricity instead of 700.

Bassil pointed out to the countless "lies" issued by several MPs and journalists aiming to hinder Deir Ammar power plant's tenders in northern Lebanon.

Bassil also noted to the growing demand of electricity amid the increase in the numbers of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, asserting that Lebanon will have a 24 hours electricity production in 2015.
