Tenanti: We will report to UN Israel's air violations

UNIFIL Official Spokesman, Andrea Tenanti, said on thursday that UNIFIL refuses Israel's air violations of Lebanon's sovereignty, saying that UNIFIL is set to report to the International Security Council on these violations.

Tenanti added that Israeli flights over Lebanese airspace are violation of Lebanese sovereignty and UN Resolution 1701.

"This matter contradicts with our goals and exerted efforts to ease tension, in the aim of securing a stable security environment in south Lebanon," Tenanti noted.
