Sheikh Assir: My supporters and I enjoy the same rights as all other citizens

Imam of the Bilal bin Rabbah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Assir held the Friday prayers inside the mosque, taking advantage of the occasion to voice in stances in regards to Lebanese state's position toward him.

Sheikh Assir called on the Lebanese government to send a delegate in order to transfer his demands adding that “thousands of his supports are pushing him toward a revolution”.

Sheikh Assir added that he and his supporters are Lebanese citizens who have the same rights as all other Lebanese nationals.
