Meeting between the Future Bloc and a delegation of independent Christian deputies

The head of the Future Bloc Fouad Siniora said on Friday that March14 forces gave proposals that express their desire to hold the elections on due time pointing out that other forces are not communicating to reach a consensual electoral law.

Following a meeting with a delegation of independent Christian officials and deputies at the residence of MP Boutros Harb, Siniora said that officials insisted on continuing contacts with all factions in order to hold elections on a fair electoral law that allows all parties to express their opinion.

For his part, MP Harb said that the meeting with the Future Bloc was to discuss the results of negotiations with other parties in regards to the electoral law and said that they will keep on exerting efforts to agree upon an electoral law.
