Lebanon's Health Ministry reports 2,593 killed and 12,119 injured from Israeli aggression

The Lebanese Ministry of Health released updated figures regarding the casualties and injuries from the past 24 hours, reporting 19 killed and 118 injured. 

This brings the total number of casualties since the onset of the events to 2,593 killed and 12,119 injured.

To date, 1,097 centers have been established to accommodate displaced individuals, with 928 centers reaching maximum capacity. 

The displacement crisis continues, with the total number of displaced persons now at 191,692 (44,319 families) residing in shelters. 

The highest displacement rates are reported in Mount Lebanon and Beirut, though the actual numbers are believed to be significantly higher.

All security agencies are actively maintaining order and assisting the displaced by distributing food and fuel supplies, protecting shelters, preventing hoarding, monitoring prices, and controlling border crossings.

From September 23 to October 24, 2024, the General Security recorded the crossing of 346,529 Syrian citizens and 153,282 Lebanese citizens into Syrian territory.

The Government Emergency Committee is responsible for receiving and distributing international aid to displaced individuals through a clear and transparent mechanism across the provinces.
