MP Hadi Aboul Hosn tells LBCI: PM-designate Salam’s position complicated by political constraints

MP Hadi Aboul Hosn said that the position of Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam is challenging, with attempts to constrain him through imposed conditions.

He urged political forces to facilitate Salam's work, warning that some were pushing him toward rebellion, complicating the task further.

Speaking on LBCI's "Nharkom Said" TV show, Aboul Hosn stressed the need to uphold principles and positivity, urging political parties not to hinder the government's formation.

He highlighted that Lebanon faces a historic opportunity and major challenges that are watched by the world.

He also noted that if the Hezbollah-Amal Movement duo presented a respected, reform-oriented figure for key positions like Finance Minister, there should be no reason to reject it, calling for unified standards and a focus on reform to help drive Lebanon's recovery.
