Al-Nusra signed bomb found in the region of Hay al-Sellom

  
A bomb connected to an electrical wire was found overnight in the region of Hay al-Sellom in Beirut's southern suburbs.                     

Slogans against Syria's President Bashar Assad and Hezbollah were written on the bomb and was signed by al-Nusra Front group-Omar bin Khattab Brigade.      

Lebanese rival parties are divided over the crisis in Syria as March 8 alliance expresses its support to Syria's President Assad, while the March 14 camp backs the popular revolt.                  

The international community and political analysts have continuously expressed concerns that the conflict in Syria will spill over into its neighboring country Lebanon.                        

On Tuesday, al-Qaida in Iraq said al-Nusra Front, the jihadist group battling Assad's regime, was part of its network and fighting for an Islamic state in Syria.                

Al-Nusra Front first rose to fame for its suicide bombings in Syria but has developed into a fearsome fighting force.                     

In December, Washington labeled the group a "terrorist" organization for its affiliation to al Qaida. 
               
Syria's conflict entered now its third year and believed to have killed more than 70,000 people since its uprising in March 2011.
