Abdul Latif Saleh to LBCI: “The situation in Tripoli is intolerable”

The media official of the Arab Democratic Party Abdul Latif Saleh told LBCI on Thursday via Nharkom Said, that the situation in Tripoli has become intolerable, holding President Michel Sleiman responsible for the incidents.

Saleh bemoaned what he called the negligence of the Alawite community by Lebanese authorities, calling for swift action as to avoid further aggravations in the northern Lebanese capital city.

Tension remains in the center of Tripoli after two shells were fired into Bab al-Tabbaneh, leading to clashes between Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, and leading to several injuries among the residents of the two rival towns.
