Raad: All parties must be represented in the new government

Head of Hezbollah parliament's bloc MP Mohammad Raad said on Sunday that all parties must be represented in Prime Minister designate Tammam Salam's new government

MP Raad's remarks came during the funeral of the father of a party member in the southern Lebanese village of Khartoum.

He added that the representation in PM designate Salam's government must be in accordance with each party's weight and volume.

MP raad dismissed any technocratic or neutral government, saying that the new government must be political.

Salam was tasked by President Michel Suleiman with forming the new government after 124 out of 128 MPs nominated him in the binding consultations held at Baabda palace.
