Body of a man struck by 2 bullets found near Mar Maroun church, Dora

The body of an unidentified man in his fifties was found on Friday morning in Dora region, near Mar Maroun church.

The man was struck by two bullets to the head; two empty 7 mm bullet shells were found by his side.

After inspecting the body, the forensic doctor Hisham Abu Jaoude confirmed that the man died at 2 a.m., adding that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances around his death.
