Future bloc calls for holding upcoming parliamentary elections on time

The Future bloc urged on Tuesday the formation of a new government based on the rotation of ministries, stressing the importance of removing all obstacles in order to form a "homogenous government."

Following its weekly meeting, the bloc rejected the postponement of the parliamentary elections since it would "endanger Lebanon's stability."

The bloc also voiced its readiness to exert further efforts to reach a consensual draft law, highlighting the importance of Lebanon's transition to a new phase.

The bloc urged Hezbollah to withdraw its fighter from Syria, saying that the Syrian people are in dire need of humanitarian aid instead of Hezbollah's fighters.

The Syrian violation of Lebanese territories was condemned by the bloc which called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to deploy at the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

The bloc also slammed the call for Jihad activities in Syria, urging the release of the Lebanese hostages in Syria's Aazaz.
