France signals support for Lebanon with upcoming envoy visit and conferences

President Joseph Aoun met with French Ambassador Hervé Magro to discuss Lebanon’s situation and the UNIFIL mandate.

Magro said French envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian will visit soon to follow up on developments and prepare two conferences: one on reconstruction and another on army support.
