Minister Ali Hassan Khalil meets with MP Franjieh in Bnachii

Head of the Marada Movement MP Sleiman Franjieh met on Tuesday at his residence in Bnachii the Political Aide of House Speaker Nabih Berri, Caretaker Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil and discussed with him the recent developments in the country along with the procedures of forming a new cabinet and the electoral law dossier.      

In this regard, Minister Hassan Khalil stressed on the significance of the relation between Speaker Berri and MP Franjieh pointing out that he discussed with Franjieh the electoral file as well as consultations pertaining to a new electoral law.       

Minister Khalil highlighted the importance of holding the elections on their constitutional due date adding that “it is pivotal to reach an electoral law that ensures the representation of all parties”.      

As for the issue of the Cabinet, Minister Khalil said that he agreed with MP Franjieh on the necessity of forming a cabinet capable of dealing with the current Lebanese situation and able of holding the upcoming parliamentary elections.
