MP Kanaan responds to Siniora, urges him not to further deceive Lebanese public

Change and Reform Bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan held on Monday a press conference in which he responded to statements launched by the Future bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora denying allegations by the Free Patriotic Movement on the involvement of successive governments in in corruption scandals and embezzlement.

During the press conference, MP Kanaan clarified that MP Siniora was entrusted during the mandate of MP Michel Aoun to carry out the State accounts whereby he breached legal and financial principles.

MP Kanaan slammed MP Siniora's statements urging him not to deceive the Lebanese people by such declarations.

MP Siniora submitted on May 9th a booklet supported with charts, documents and tables which "clearly show that the book" introduced by the FPM entitled Ibra'a al-Mostahil (Impossible Guiltlessness) "is full of fabrications and lies."
