Torsarkissian: Stability of electoral law is crucial
Future Movement MP Serge Torsarkissian said on Wednesday that “it is illogical that the electoral law of any country changes constantly,” adding that “stability of the electoral laws is crucial for the people and voters.”

Torsarkissian told Voice of Lebanon that any party that rises to power changes the electoral rules and seeks to change the political staff of a certain region where the party once lost in elections.

Torsarkissian confirmed that there are many remarks on the proportional representation tabled for discussion adding that, each electoral law should be decided on by cabinet through a two-thirds vote before referring it to the parliament.
