Caretaker Minister Ghosn: Security chaos puts Lebanon at stake

In a statement released on Tuesday, Caretaker Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn warned against the security situation in Lebanon, stressing that "this chaos will put the country at stake."

He added that strife will affect "all Lebanese people without any exception", noting that the Lebanese Armed Forces will be decisive in this regard, lifting the political cover of all perpetrators.

Minister Ghosn called on the Lebanese people to be remain vigilant throughout this critical stage.

He slammed the attacks launched against the Lebanese Army, asserting that such attacks will not hinder the LAF from carrying out its duties.

"The Army will protect the country, maintain stability and protect citizens regardless of the sacrifices," the Minister concluded.
