Kuwait calls its citizen to abandon travel to Lebanon

Kuwait urged on Sunday its citizens to avoid Lebanon, asking from those already there to exit the country "as soon as possible".

The KUNA News Agency quoted a foreign ministry official saying that Kuwait urges its citizens to exercise cautions and to abandon travel to Lebanon.

The Foreign Ministry also called on Kuwaiti nationals in Lebanon to exit the country "as soon as possible."

This step came after two rockets hit Hezbollah's stronghold in Beirut leaving four people injured.

The attack came one day after the Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassasn Nasrallah vowed in a televised speech to help Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to victory in Syria's civil war and warned that his toppling would give rise to extremists.
