Israeli army warns residents of southern Lebanon to avoid movement near border villages and Litani River areas

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent message to residents of southern Lebanon.

Adraee said on “X”: “We reiterate that during the ceasefire agreement period, the Israeli army continues to be deployed in its positions in southern Lebanon in response to the ongoing activities of Hezbollah.”

He added: “We again warn that, for your safety and the safety of your families, and until further notice, you are required not to move south of the line of villages shown and their surroundings. It is also not allowed to approach the area of the Litani River, the Wadi al-Saluki, and the Wadi al-Saffi.”

He continued: “In addition, please refrain from crossing into or returning to the following villages: al-Bayada, Shama, Tayr Harfa, Abu Shash, al-Jibbein, Naqoura, Dhahira, al-Matmoura, Yarine, Umm Touta, al-Zalloutiyeh, Boustane, Shihin, Marwahin, Rmeish (Bint Jbeil), Beit Lif, Sulhaneh, Aita al-Shaab, Hanin, al-Tiri, Rashaf, Yaroun, Maroun al-Ras, Bint Jbeil, Ainata, Kunin, Aitaroun, Blida, Mhaibib, Meiss al-Jabal, Qalaat Daba, Houla, Markaba, Tallousa, Bani Hayan, Rab Thalathin, Adaisseh (Marjayoun), Kfar Kila, Taybeh (Marjayoun), Deir Seryan, Qantara, Alman (Marjayoun), Adshit al-Qusayr, al-Qusayr, Meissat, Labouneh, Iskandarouna, Shamaa, Jjeim, Dhahira, Yarin, Khirbet al-Ksair, Deir Seryan, Khiam, Salib, Mazraat Sarda, and Majidiyeh.”
