Israeli army issues evacuation warning for new villages in South Lebanon

The Israeli military on Wednesday issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents of several villages in southern Lebanon, including Ghassaniyeh, Houmine El Faouqa, and Ansariyeh, citing ongoing military operations against Hezbollah.

In a statement, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the warning was issued "in light of Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement," adding that the Israeli military would continue to operate against the group.

The statement said the Israeli army "does not intend to harm civilians" but urged residents of the affected villages to leave their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the towns and villages to open areas.
