Sleiman meets with Kahwaji, tackles situation in Tripoli, Baalbek, Arsal

President Michel Sleiman held a meeting on Thursday with the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwaji whereby they tackled the situation in the city of Tripoli, the renewed attack against the LAF checkpoint in Arsal and the Syrian rockets that crashed late on Wednesday on the outskirts of Baalbek.

Talks also featured high on the measures undertaken by the LAF in order to respond to sources of fire and to arrest all assailants who attack LAF soldiers and civilians alike.
