Gemayel: All Arab revolutions do not have a political ideology

Kataeb Leader Amin Gemayel stressed that Lebanon will overcome this critical period despite the current circumstances, expressing optimism as to the country’s future.

Gemayel said, in a radio interview, that Hezbollah is governing Lebanon since it makes decisions on sovereignty issues. He added that the security in the country is at risk although the Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel withdrew his latest statement about an upcoming wave of assassinations.

Asked on the “Arab Spring”, Gemayel commented that people are demanding the fall of the current regimes without any alternative, adding that the people should be given the choice to choose their own representatives despite all other factors.
