Home Remedies to beat Spring Allergies!
Who doesn't like Spring? The warm season of new beginnings! A time filled with delights, sunlight, blossoming trees and the promise of nasty allergies.
Some spring allergies are so severe they require medical attention. They can and will cripple you during an entire season.
So who doesn't like Spring? Those of us with allergies !

The good news is, allergies can be prevented and controlled. Yes...we know what you're thinking; We do sound like grandma. But guess what, home remedies do work wonders.
Here's a small list of practical, time efficient grandma cures to help you keep those allergic fits at bay.

1- Honey

And make sure it's local! Local honey is produced by the bees next door so if you make sure to eat a little honey every morning you will gradually become immune to allergies triggered by certain flowers or pollen especially those in your area. And here's an extra tip; add some lemon to a spoon full of honey in the morning and say goodbye to spring and summer flu.

2- Neti Pots

We know it sounds "exotic and far fetched but who doesn't use saline spray? Neti pots are just the organic way to do that.
Neti pots are containers designed to clean nasal cavities and clear congested sinuses. The regular use of a pot proves to be more effective than traditional sprays.
To make your own solution, buy yourself some Himalayan Salt, sprinkle a tiny bit over some lukewarm water and fill your pot then say goodbye to nasal congestion!

3- Chamomile

Chamomile is a natural anti inflammatory offering quick relief  for itchy eyes. Place wet Chamomile tea bags over your eyes for a few minutes while relaxing to some soothing music.

4- Ginger

Ginger is magic in a root! It's a natural pain killer and can help soothe the irritation of a sore throat. It’s especially powerful when combined with honey. Simmer 1 teaspoon of fresh, grated ginger in a cup of water for five to 10 minutes to create a ginger tea. Add a spoon full of honey for that extra effect.
