[PHOTOS] Man Who Flaunts Wealth On Facebook Revealed As Butcher!
24-year-old Daniel Burgoyne who compared himself to the Wolf of Wall Street, persuaded dozens of people to entrust their savings to him for investments in carbon credits, gem stones and wine.

But in reality, the man who claimed to run his business from a prestigious address was merely a former butcher with an NVQ in business studies.

The conman, labeled as the ‘Fox of Folkestone,’ got two years in jail for cheating investors out of £75,000 ($112,000).

Burgoyne lived a lavish lifestyle and posted pictures of luxury life on Facebook including photos of a BMW, piles of cash and a magnum of champagne.

Nevertheless, police unveiled the true identity of the Rolex-wearing criminal who pretended to be a financial high-roller and tricked 18 people into giving him their money.

Prosecutor Jim Harvey said Burgoyne tricked people into thinking they were investing in diamonds or wine and offered unrealistic returns.

One investor who spent around £33,000 ($49,000) on a diamond was told it would increase in value by 1.9% every month but would be kept in Switzerland for tax reasons.

So next time you see exaggerated photos on Facebook, think again, they may as well be fake!
