Vegan Butcher Sells 'Meat-Free Meat' And 'Cheese-Free Cheese'

A vegan butcher is about to become a reality, where you can buy meat-free meats and cheese-free cheese.

The world-first idea is the work of a man named Kale and his sister Aubry Walch, who launched a Kickstarter campaign that raised them around USD 60,000 to start their project.

The 'Herbivorous Butcher', which already sells online, offers plant-based 'meats' such as Italian sausage and BBQ ribs, but instead of using animals to craft their produce, it uses ingredients like chickpeas and tapioca.

On their page, Kale and Aubry wrote: “We’ve created complex and flavorful products that will satisfy any herbivore, omnivore, and even self‐proclaimed carnivores.

Our 100% vegan cruelty-free meat alternatives capture the best flavors, textures, and nutrients that meats have to offer without their negative impacts on health, animals, and the environment.”
