Carole-Ann and Jim Stanfield were shocked to find that their wedding outfits still fitted, after their granddaughter Hayley visited and wanted to look through family photos and old stuff in the loft. The couple originally met at the men’s club where Jim worked in 1962 and have been together ever since.
It was Hayley’s idea to throw a party to which the couple could wear their outfits, which stunned all the invitees.
The pair, who visited Malta in 1966, is now planning to ‘honeymoon’ once more in Turkey.
They say that laughter is the secret for their long marriage.
