Lebanon returns over 300 historical artifacts to Iraq

Lebanon has handed over a total of 337 historical artifacts to Iraq in an official ceremony held at the Nabu, National Museum of Beirut.

Lebanese Culture Minister Mohammad Mortada and Iraqi Ambassador to Beirut Haider Shyaa Al-Barrak as well as other officials from both sides attended the ceremony.

The ambassador said the items belonged to different eras of civilizations in Mesopotamia.

Among the historical artifacts, most of them are clay tablets.
