REPORT: PM Salam, Lebanese delegation meet Saudi officials in Jeddah
A closed meeting was held in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday between the Custodian of the two holy mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
 
Prior to this meeting, Saudi Crown Prince held talks with PM Salam in the presence of Deputy PM Defense Minister Samir Moqbel, Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil, Interior Minister Nouhad Mashnouq, Health Minister Wael Abou Faour, and Sports and Youth Minister Abed al-Motaleb al-Hannawi.
 
In this regard, PM Salam said that he briefed the Saudi Crown Prince on the situation in Lebanon, pointing out that he is keen on resolving the presidential deadlock.
 
As for the meeting that was held between Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea and Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun, PM Salam voiced his support to any approach that aims at bridging the gap between Lebanese factions.
