Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri ended Thursday his 4-day official visit to Romania, where he held a successful round of talks with senior officials, concerning the improvement of political, economic and parliamentary cooperation between both countries.
Talks also featured high on the current regional situation, mainly the latest developments regarding the Syrian crisis and the refugee crisis.
Berri said that his visit came as a confirmation of the historical political bilateral relations, recalling the many agreements signed between the Lebanese and the Romanian parliaments.
In this regard, the Lebanese speaker called on the Romanian Parliament to support Lebanon in coping with the refugees crisis.
