French President Francois Hollande received on Thursday at the Elysee Palace former Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
Following the meeting, former PM Hariri quoted President Hollande as he reiterated the need to end Lebanon’s presidential vacuum.
Hariri said that there is “great hope” in reaching a breakthrough over the presidential deadlock, adding that dialogue is ongoing between Lebanon’s political rivals.
Speaking of Franjieh’s presidential candidacy, Hariri pointed out that he sees "positive climate" and is upbeat about the coming days.
