Madrid extends land borders closure with Morocco for 15 days
Spain announced on Saturday that the two Spanish cities borders Ceuta and Melilla, which are the sole European Union land borders with Africa, shall remain closed for 15 more days to discuss means of their opening.
 
In this regard, Spanish Interior Ministry said in a statement that the two Spanish cities, which were closed during the pandemic in spring 2020, and remained closed further to a diplomatic crisis in 2021, were supposed to be open on Saturday, April 30 at midnight.
