Putin to Macon: Western countries should stop supplying Ukraine with weapons

Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed on Tuesday that the Western countries should stop supplying Ukraine with weapons.

Putin’s comments were made during a phone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

In a statement, the Kremlin revealed that Putin said that “the West can help in putting an end for the atrocities by exercising the appropriate influence on the Kyiv authorities, as well as by stopping the supply of arms to Ukraine.”

“Kyiv lacks a willingness to work seriously on the peace talks,” he concluded by saying.
