At least 920 people killed and 600 wounded in Afghanistan earthquake

Death toll from the earthquake that struck southeastern Afghanistan on Tuesday night has risen to at least 920, the government announced.

 

Assistant Minister of Natural Disasters Sharaf al-Din Muslim said: "The information received by us indicates that at least 920 people were killed and 600" others were wounded.
