Israeli army says it gained control of Gaza port

The Israeli army announced on Thursday that it achieved "operational control" over the Gaza port, a crucial part of the infrastructure in the besieged territory.

This development comes on the forty-first day of the war between Israel and Hamas.

In a statement, the army declared, "Our forces continue operational control over the Gaza port... which was under the control of the terrorist organization Hamas," confirming the "clearance of all buildings in the port area."
