Syrian President to visit the White House this month: FM

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani said on Sunday that President Ahmed al-Sharaa will visit the White House this month, in what will be a historic first visit by a Syrian president to Washington.

U.S. Special Envoy Tom Barrack said on Saturday that al-Sharaa is expected to visit Washington.

Later, a White House official confirmed that the Syrian president is scheduled to visit around November 10.
