Belgian zoo animals feast on pumpkin ahead of Halloween

A Belgian zoo on Friday (October 29) released videos of their residents playing with and eating carved pumpkins as Halloween nears.

Last Wednesday (October 27), caretakers at Antwerp Zoo offered pumpkins filled with treats to several animals of the zoo, including lions, buffalos, hippopotamus, tapirs, rhinos, chimpanzees and antelopes.

Located at the heart of the port city of Antwerp, the zoo is the oldest animal park in Belgium and dates back to 1843. It houses around 5,000 animals and 950 different species.
