REPORT: Residents of Hrar gather in solidarity with Rabih al-Ahmad

Residents of the Lebanese town Hrar held on Sunday a gathering in solidarity with Rabih Al-Ahmad, the victim of the Baysour crime.

Following the gathering, Rabih al-Ahmad headed to his family’s residence where he explained the circumstances of the crime.

On Tuesday the 15th of July, sources told LBCI that a Lebanese national identified as Rabih Al-Ahmad who hails from the region of Akkar was admitted to a hospital in Kaber Shamoun after being severely beaten and after having his penis amputated.

Sources added that the resident married a few weeks ago a young woman from Aley despite the objection of her parents.

On Monday, the victim received a phone call from his wife's family saying that they finally agreed on their marriage, and asking for a reconciliation lunch. However after finally meeting Rabih, the family forcefully beat the man and cut off his penis.
