REPORT: Israel raises state of alert to face nature’s fury

At least 250 thousand Israelis are threatened to be the victims of a potential earthquake expected to take place any moment.            

The preparations to face the quake threat have reached their peak, under the supervision of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in person, who formed a ministerial committee tasked with setting up a mechanism to deal with the possible disaster. The committee will also work on strengthening the infrastructure in the northern region, which was described as “not ready” by some Israeli officials.
