REPORT: 2nd Iranian Embassy suicide attacker is Palestinian identified as Adnan Moussa Mohammad

The Palestinian national identified as Adnan Moussa Mohammad who hails from Ain al-Helweh refugee camp and resides in al-Zahrani region is suspected to be the second Iranian Embassy suicide attacker.

The suspicion is yet to be confirmed through the tests that will be carried out on DNA samples from the suspect’s father and from body parts found at the scene of the crime.

In this context, security sources noted that Adnan Mohammad has been arrested before for being involved in a personal dispute where he stabbed another person with a knife.

The source added that the second attacker is a supporter of Ahmad Assir, noting that he had left his parents’ house several months ago and that his father had reported his disappearance.

The same sources pointed out that security apparatuses are pursuing other supporters of Ahmad al-Assir on suspicion of being involved in the Iranian embassy attack.
