REPORT: Al-Ghouta survivors recount horror of the chemical attack

The chemical attack that took place on August 21, 2013, in Syria's al-Ghouta region is almost certainly the deadliest event in Syria's civil war.

A conflict that has killed more than 170,000 people since it began in March 2011.

Online video of the attack's aftermath showed scores of panicked victims twitching and suffocating in chaotic makeshift hospitals which provoked international condemnation.

This report will shed light on the al-Ghouta survivors who recounted the horror of the chemical attack.
