REPORT: Informal refugee camps to be established in Lebanese-Syrian border region
The Lebanese government is set to start establishing informal camps for the Syrian refugees in the border region between the Lebanese General Security and the Syrian General Security points in al-Masnaa and al-Abboudieh. The camps will be subject the state’s supervision.

However, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees had previously warned against establishing camps in border regions, since these areas witness shelling and sniping operations.
