Minister Rifi called on the Lebanese army and on Minister Wael Abou Faour to clarify this issue, adding that he will not file a complaint against the Al-Akhbar newspaper that published the said information.
On another note, Minister Rifi said that raid operation should be conducted not only in Tripoli’s Bab el-Tabbaneh but also in Jabal Mohsen and in South Beirut’s Dahiyeh region.
In this regard, Rifi said that the largest arm caches are in Beirut’s Dahieyh, emphasizing that he is not against applying the law on Bilal Deqmaq, but called for applying the same laws on all Lebanese citizens equally. For more details, watch Edmond Sassine's full report in the video above
