REPORT: Owners of water companies slam Abou Faour’s decision to close their institutions

The owners of unlicensed water companies staged a protest to voice their objection to the decision of Health Minister Wael Abou Faour to close all the unlicensed companies and suppliers of bottles drinking water.

The protesters noted that the only reason behind the existence of these companies is the government’s failure to ensure drinking water for the Lebanese citizens, calling on the authorities to help them organize their work, instead of closing their institutions.
