REPORT: Lebanese professor shot dead by ex-wife in University of South Carolina
A Lebanese professor was shot dead on Thursday at the University of South Carolina in an apparent murder-suicide.

The victim is identified as 45-year-old Raja Fayad, a graduate director, head of the division of applied physiology and an expert in colon cancer at the urban campus’ Arnold School of Public Health.

Witnesses say that the shooting occurred on the fourth floor of the campus building.

Preliminary investigations show that the murderer is Fayad’s ex-wife who committed suicide after shooting him dead.
