REPORT: Captors reduce ransom to $100,000 to free kidnapped child in Amchit
Interrogations are still ongoing on Sunday in the case of Saturday kidnapping of the child Ricardo Imad Jaara.
 
The child was abducted outside his home in the Jbeil town of Amchit.
 
The abductors contacted the family, offering to reduce the ransom from $250,000 to $100,000.
 
The child reportedly spoke to his mother at 4:00 am, saying that he is in good health but refusing food.
 
The family said that it received a phone call from “a Syrian number operating on the Syrian network.
 
The family for its part stressed that the kidnapping is not related to family disputes.
