“My Nationality is A Right for Me and My Family” campaign gathered Thursday in Beirut's Martyrs’ Square, coinciding with the legislative session.
The campaigners called for granting the Lebanese women the right to pass their nationalities to their children and spouses.
This as they considered the citizenship draft law, which will be passed during today’s session, “as a failure,” announcing that they will challenge it before the Constitutional Council.
They also vowed to carry out protests across Lebanon in the near future.
