Civil society activists gathered Wednesday outside the Justice Palace in Beirut, where they met with Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim to inquire about the latest developments in the case of the waste crisis.
In this context, Judge Ibrahim vowed to publish the results of the investigations conducted into Sukleen company corruption case, before the New Year’s holiday.
Accordingly, the activists called for a protest on Saturday at 04:00 pm in Riad al-Solh Square to call for a swift solution for the waste crisis and a new electoral law based on proportional representation.
