Sit-in held in solidarity with Lebanon’s journalists

Lebanese Journalist's Union organized on Tuesday a sit-in at the Martyrs Square to protest the neglect against the journalists and all those working in the media field.

During the sit-in, the union’s head Joseph Kosseiffi lamented the neglect, stressing that hundreds of journalists are now unemployed after the closure of some media institutions.

‘Lebanon's press and media were a symbol of freedom, democracy, development and prosperity,” he stressed.
