Turkey's Karpowership resumes supplying Lebanon with electric power from its two ships-[REPORT]
Turkey's Karpowership decided on Tuesday to resume supplying Lebanon with electric power from its two ships, Fatmagül Sultan and Orhan Bey as of today, June 29, 2021.

The company took this decision as "a goodwill gesture as it looks forward to a constructive discussion with the Lebanese state in order to identify solutions to the existing issues in the coming days and weeks."

The company also noted that “it is deeply aware of the enormous challenges that Lebanon faces at the present time,” adding that it has demonstrated its continued support as much as possible despite “the disappointing” events that have occurred in recent months.

Karpowership also reaffirmed its commitment “to finding a workable solution.”
