A 'grumpy' man who gave up smoking, was suffering from mood swings so his wife told him to get out and get some fresh air.
Listening to his wife’s advice, Mick Brown, 42 from Australia, stumbled upon a 2.7 kg gold nugget not far from Sydney.
The amateur prospector did not reveal the exact location, but he said that his discovery is worth at least $200,000.
Brown, who has four daughters, noted that he learnt a valuable lesson, which is that there is more to life than sitting and watching TV.
