Caretaker Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper on Sunday that the Lebanese Armed Forces started to deploy in the northern city of Tripoli.

He also noted that that Security Forces started to establish checkpoints at the entrances of the city.

He revealed to the Daily that a social plan will be implemented in Tripoli to provide job opportunities for its residents.


Fighters in Tripoli told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper on Sunday that the security procedures taken by Security Forces will not stop the clashes that started on Monday.

Leaders of axes asserted to the Daily that the military procedures implemented by Security Forces will not put an end for the clashes between Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tebbaneh.


Sources told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper on Sunday that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is planning to stage a massive demonstration in support of the ousted President Mohammad Morsi.

Sources added that the demonstration is set to take place before Morsi's trial and in Cairo and Jiza regions.
